How do we Calculate the Engagement Rate?
Engagement Rate quantifies the level of interaction and involvement that an audience has with a specific piece of content. It is a metric used to assess how well the influencer's audience is engaging with this post or the piece of content.
The engagement rate of a post (or a specific piece of content) is calculated by dividing the total engagement (likes and comments) of the post by the total number of followers and multiplying it by 100 to derive the percentage.
We calculate the average engagement rate by taking the median values of the recent 12 posts' engagement rates.
It helps brands and marketers gauge the effectiveness of an influencer's content in terms of capturing and retaining audience attention and involvement.
