How to check a creator's audience and audience quality

Follower count tells you little. The audience sections of the report tell you who those followers are and whether they are real.

Open the creator's analytics report first. See How to generate a creator analytics report.

Audience

  • Top countries and Top cities: where followers are based.
  • Gender and Age: the split across followers.
  • Languages and Ethnicities: the breakdown of the audience.

Tip: Check Top countries against where you sell. A creator based in one country can have most of their audience somewhere else.

Audience quality

Credibility is a score out of 100. Higher means a more authentic audience.

Followers are split into four groups:

  • Real: genuine accounts.
  • Influencers: other creators.
  • Mass Followers: accounts that follow a very large number of people.
  • Suspicious: accounts that look fake or inactive.

Credibility vs comparable creators

Shows which quartile the creator sits in against similar creators: Bottom 25%, Lower mid, Upper mid, or Top 25%.

Follower reachability

Groups followers by how many accounts they follow. Followers who follow fewer accounts are more likely to see the creator's posts.

Notable followers

Well-known accounts that follow the creator. Click Show all to see the full list.

The line under Notable followers shows what share of likers do not follow the creator. A high number means their reach extends beyond their follower base.
