How to use keywords on impulze.ai to get the most accurate search results?
On impulze.ai, you can easily find influencers across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Here’s how to use keywords and filters to make your search more accurate.
Step 1: Choose a Platform
Before you type in any keywords, select a platform. On the left side of your dashboard, you’ll see icons for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Click on the platform you want to start with.
Step 2: Enter Keywords
We’ve kept it simple for you. You can enter different types of keywords:
- General keywords: Just type a word or phrase.
- Example: skincare tips, marathon runners
- Hashtags: Add a
#before the word.- Example:
#fitnessgoals,#veganrecipes
- Example:
- Username: Add an
@before the handle.- Example:
@johndoe,@travelwithanna
- Example:
Step 3: Use Magic Keywords
Not sure what keywords, hashtags, or usernames to try? Click the Magic Keywords button. Simply type what you’re looking for in plain words.
Example: marathon runners who mention Nike. impulze.ai will then generate:
- Post captions
- Profile bio keywords
- Relevant hashtags
- Suggested usernames
Click on "Apply Keywords" and all of these will be automatically added to your search bar.
Step 4: Apply Filters
To refine your search and build a targeted list, you can use filters such as:
- Location
- Engagement rate
- Follower count
- Contact details availability
- Similar profiles
For even more precise searches, advanced filters like creator tab, creator language, age, gender, etc., are available. The Audience tab lets you choose aspects like audience age, gender, location, interest, and brand affinities. So, you can choose these from the audience tab and quickly find influencers whose followers match your target audience.
Let’s say you want to find female beauty influencers based in the US whose followers are in the US, too, and are between 20-40. You can use the percentage bar in the audience tab under ‘Audience Gender’ and ‘Audience Locations.’
Step 5: Use Templates
Still unsure about what to enter? We’ve made it even easier with pre-made templates:
- Choose by niche (e.g., beauty, fitness, gaming)
- Choose by use case (e.g., similar influencers, competitor mentions)
Just select the template that matches your goal, and you’ll instantly get the right keywords filled in.

Note: If you search using the username of an influencer who is not a part of our database, impulze.ai cannot fetch the profile.
Another helpful feature in impulze.ai’s search section is the small drop-down menu below the search bar on the right (visible in the screenshot below).
Use this drop-down to sort influencers based on ‘Follower Size,’ ‘Average Likes,’ and ‘Engagement Rate.’
Limitations of impulze.ai’s search feature
Consider this: You want to find a female influencer who focuses on skincare and has mentioned sunscreen in any of her posts. You cannot use impulze.ai’s search bar for such a combination search. But, we have a solution: Use SocialiQ for such searches.
You can use the keywords ‘[Skincare], sunscreen’ in SocialiQ’s search bar to find such an influencer. When you type this in SocialiQ’s search bar, it will help you find an influencer who has mentioned the word ‘skincare’ in her bio and used sunscreen in any of her posts’ descriptions.
