Analyzing Influencers through impulze.ai and SocialiQ

impulze.ai and SocialiQ can help you assess an influencer’s profile in a few clicks. It’s best to use both together to evaluate an influencer’s performance. This guide has information about how you can do so.

First, here are details about how you can use SocialiQ to get influencer insights.

SocialiQ shows the median engagement rate for any Instagram and TikTok influencer’s profile you open. The engagement rate you see on SocialiQ gets updated in real-time.

It’ll also show the engagement rate on each post.

Note: SocialiQ cannot show the median engagement rate for YouTube influencers.

Another way SocialiQ can help you analyze influencers is through the insights it provides. Click on ‘Insights’ at the bottom of the extension, and it’ll show information like total likes and a comparison of an influencer’s engagement rate with their peers.

That wraps up how SocialiQ can help you analyze influencers.

Now, let’s see how impulze.ai can complement your influencer analysis. For advanced analysis, use these features of impulze.ai:

1. See engagement rates when you use the search bar to find them.

Note: The engagement rates you would see for an influencer on impulze.ai and SocialiQ will differ because engagement rates on the app are updated once a month, whereas those on SocialiQ are updated in real time.

2. Click ‘View Report’ under the influencer’s name for a detailed report.

This detailed report shows many insights.

You can see details like the hashtags used, top interests, and brand affinities.

It also shows audience demographics. You can see information like the location of the followers, the age and gender split, the languages they speak, the types of followers an influencer has (this can help you find genuine influencers), whether followers have grown over the past six months, etc.

Note: The data in this report, including the engagement rate, gets updated once every month.

How to find genuine influencers?

Say you’re considering working with an Instagram influencer like Andrew Coates and want to check if he has bought followers.

Every report shows such a graph with four categories. Here’s what these categories mean:

  • Real Followers: Real followers are Instagram users with less than 1500 followers. These are usually people who use Instagram for personal purposes.
  • Influencers: These are other influencers who follow Andrew.
  • Mass Followers: Mass followers are Instagram users with more than 1500 followers.
  • Suspicious Followers: impulze.ai’s machine learning algorithms scan and process millions of profiles to look into the profile characteristics and can differentiate and predict a bot profile. This category shows the followers that our algorithm identifies as ‘suspicious.’

Check for a high percentage of suspicious followers to spot influencers that aren’t genuine.

You can also see the credibility score of an influencer at the top of an influencer report. See this score to quickly figure out the quality of an influencer’s audience.

The credibility score is an aggregative metric derived from analyzing the follower growth pattern and the types of followers (real, mass, suspicious, and influencers) of the influencer. A credibility score of 80% and above is good; you should consider working with such an influencer.
